Completely Unpoetic
So I'm going to Chicago Aug. 11-14. I used Priceline to get a 3-star hotel on the Magnificent Mile for right around $100/night. Priceless. After fees and junk it was about $400 for everything (slightly short). I'm looking forward to a few days away with The Frankness. It'll be fun and educational. Yes.
The weather is gross and I've been working a lot. I feel like I've spent 1/2 my life stuck in traffic. To those who believe that it is completely necessary to back I-64 all the way to 111, a giant F-you in your general direction. I'm thinking about going 270 now, even though it's slightly less convienent.
Went to the Muny last night. Wizard of Oz was nice, but they used mostly 2nd rate actors to ploay the parts. The woman who played Dorothy had a beautiful voice, but it didn't have much range. Thanks to the Muny Kids, they put on a pretty profitable production.
I'm spending too much time with Frank and I miss my friends. Come to my graduation party on Sunday. It's at my parents' house in Pontoon Beach. Call if you need directions.
