An update on wedding things.
So I'm still getting married. I know - you're all surprised. I think there are some people out there just waiting for the call to tell them not to come. Oh well - I'm looking forward to the snide comments.
On a lighter note, the bachelorette is tonight. We started off calling it a bachelor party, as well, but Adam's groomsmen are all old married fogeys and don't stay up past 9 (like us), so its mostly just my side. I'm glad its also Sarah's birthday, as she's bringing a bunch of people. I don't know enough drinkers to fill a bus any more! I'm just really looking forward to seeing everyone today. I do have some fabulous friends.
Wedding plans are coming along OK. I think we're pretty much set on everything, although there are some kind-of last-minute changes. I broke down and bought a (cheap) bouquet and garter so we can to the traditional tossing. I was kind of against it, as I always remember just being really embarassed at the idea of catching that thing, but I guess it'll be fun. I also am done with all the gifts for everyone and I think we have a pretty good set-up crew. The rehearsal invites are out and I'm just really looking forward to having this whole damn thing over and done with.
The house is 2 weeks ahead of schedule, which is a good thing. The bathroom (including my 6-jet bathtub!) is done and they've ordered all the countertops and cabinets and everything. We picked out a marble tile laminate for the kitchen and a beige shaggy carpet for the livingroom and bedrooms. We've been landscaping a lot and Adam is constantly reminding me of how much yard we have. We're just looking forward to MOVING IN! The flippers are talking mid-July, which isn't bad.
