So... as many of you already know, we lost our baby.  It just never developed beyond 4 weeks - a gestational sac, a yolk sac and a fetal pole.  I was spot bleeding and my hormones were doing a little dance, so I had a surgery (D&C) to try to prevent a very painful spontaneous miscarriage.  Of course, the medicine to soften my cervix caused me to kick into labor, so I was in the ER for most of Thursday morning (from 2:30am on) before my 8am surgery.  Between the surgery IV's and the pre-surgery blood tests, I look like a dang heroin addict (lots of needle sticks and bruising in the inside elbows).  I also now feel like I'm deflating.  I really miss our baby, but we're going to try again in a few months when my system resets.

On a better note, we close on the new home tomorrow.  We have a lot of our stuff in there now, but we don't actually close until tomorrow at 4pm.  Jacuzzi tub, here I come!  We'll move the cat Wednesday morning and we got a dog that we hope we'll be able to keep.  She was a dump at my mom's barn and she's really sweet.  Little black lab mix.  Her name is Junebug.

Well, I'll get back to doing what I'm doing.  Everyone is welcome to come over and visit us at the new place.  Just call me!

We found out yesterday morning that we're going to be parents! Much love to all - this is our little wedding night miracle!

I got my toes and fingernails done yesterday, plus I met with my hairdresser to determine my up-do for the day. We also got our marriage license yesterday, so I think we're all set. We've verified with the deliveries, the cake, the DJ, and the photographer. The caterer is all set. WOW!!!
I'm not nervous other than about the day of. Adam and I have planned most of this ourselves, so I feel like if it doens't go well, then that is a reflection back on us. That's a bit scary! I know it will go just fine, though.
